In 1944 two incredible people were born in the Tennessee/Kentucky region of the United States. Little did they know on that day, coming into the world, they were destined to meet and raise a family. Nor did they know just how much they would mean to those children they brought into the world. They didn’t have much in terms of worldly wealth, however, they had no idea how rich they were. What these two gave in terms of integrity, sacrifice, determination, resourcefulness, and undeniable love to their children, I am sure they never planned. I am privileged to be one of those children and what they have given is impossible to repay. Studio 4d4 is a tribute to them; a small way to pay honor to the blessing it has been to be raised by them. It was created in an attempt to pass along a small part of all the gifts they have bestowed upon their family by just being themselves. We are better people because of them in every way. Dall is my father, and though he has gone on to a brighter world, I feel him every day of my life. I hear his laughter on the hard days, I feel his determination when a task feels daunting. His resourcefulness fills my mind when I face an impossible problem. Trust me there was nothing he couldn’t fix! His integrity is my guide when I feel unsure of a decision. His sacrifice to give us better than he had resounds in my heart daily and gives me the strength to build a better life. Last but most certainly least, his ability to show love is unparalleled (he had this unique ability to make each and everyone he met feel like they were his absolute favorite person in the world). Even though he has passed on, his love still touches my life everyday. Thank you Dad for all the gifts you have given me. My hope is to pass on the gifts I have been so fortunate to receive. May all who come to visit experience a little taste of what home is to me. This gallery is a collection of memories of my Dad.
